Geode respects your privacy and provides a way for users to request deletion of their account and associated data.

Please send your request using the email address associated with your Geode account so that we can verify your identity.
After receiving and verifying your request, we will process your account deletion request within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account deletion request is completed, we will delete personal data associated with your Geode account that is stored or controlled by Geode, including:
- Account information used to identify your account
- User profile information
- Account-related service information
- User entitlement and account status information associated with your account
- Temporary server-side files or cached data created during optional cloud transcription or cloud summary processing
Geode does not provide cloud storage for users’ recordings, transcripts, or summaries. Cloud processing data is only temporarily handled when users choose cloud-based features and is removed according to our data retention practices.
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when necessary for legitimate purposes, including:
- Payment and transaction records required for accounting, tax, or financial compliance
- Records required to prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Information required to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
Any retained information will only be kept for as long as necessary for these purposes.
Local Data Stored on Your Device
Geode is designed to process many types of content locally on your device.
Audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, notes, and other content stored locally on your device are not accessible by Geode servers and cannot be deleted remotely by us.
To remove local data, please delete the content directly in the Geode app or through your device settings.
