Geode is a privacy-first audio tool developed by OmniIntelliLink Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). It enables users to record, transcribe, and summarize speech entirely on their own devices using advanced on-device AI models. Unlike conventional cloud-based transcription services, Geode is designed for private AI meeting notes, processing all sensitive content—recordings, transcripts, speaker separation, and summaries—locally.
All sensitive audio content and AI inference processing occur on the user’s device. Geode does not transmit recordings, transcripts, or AI-generated summaries off the user’s device for storage, analysis, or AI processing. Limited connectivity is used solely for license verification and optional diagnostic reporting, which can be disabled by the user. This architecture ensures that users retain direct, local control over their recordings, transcripts, and summaries, making Geode a data-secure app for professional environments.

2. Privacy-by-Design Architecture
Geode was built around the principle of Privacy by Design, aligning with GDPR Article 25. Privacy is embedded into every technical layer of the product—not added later.
- Local Processing — All recording, transcription, and summarization occur entirely on-device, enabling device-resident sensitive data processing without reliance on external infrastructure.
- Minimal Connectivity — Internet access is limited to subscription verification, crash diagnostics, and updates only.
- Speaker Separation — Fully local diarization module; no data leaves the device.
- Summary Generation — Local language models run offline, supporting private AI meeting notes without cloud inference.
3. Data Flow and Local Security
Geode’s data lifecycle is fully contained within the device, supporting offline speech-to-text secure workflows:
- Recording — Audio is captured and stored locally.
- Transcription — A Whisper-based model performs speech-to-text conversion offline, ensuring local AI transcription privacy.
- Speaker Separation — Processed entirely offline within the application sandbox.
- Summarization — Executed locally using on-device AI models.
- Storage — All files remain on-device until explicitly deleted by the user.
All data is protected using native iOS/macOS security mechanisms. Geode’s architecture is designed so that OmniIntelliLink has no technical means to access user recordings or transcripts.
4. Minimal Server-Side Data
Geode maintains only limited server-side data required for application operation: account identifiers, entitlement status, and optional anonymized crash logs. No audio, transcripts, or summaries are transmitted.
This limited metadata is hosted on infrastructure operated in a GDPR-compliant manner (e.g., AWS), under strict encryption and access controls, preserving the integrity of device-resident sensitive data processing.
5. Transparency and User Rights
Geode adheres to GDPR, CCPA, and other major privacy frameworks. Users retain full control and may:
- Access, correct, or delete account data
- Disable crash reporting at any time
- Withdraw consent

EEA and UK users may also contact their local data authority. Responses are typically provided within 30 days.
6. Data Security Framework
Geode implements comprehensive Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs) consistent with requirements for a data-secure app:
- Technical — TLS 1.3 encryption, application sandboxing, and encrypted local storage.
- Organizational — Role-based access controls and regular privacy reviews.
- Incident Response — Immediate containment and notification where legally required.
Users remain responsible for securing their own devices. Geode cannot access or recover deleted data.
7. Compliance and Governance
Geode complies with GDPR by:
- Ensuring data minimization (Article 5)
- Applying privacy by design (Article 25)
- Using GDPR-compliant processors (Article 28)
- Implementing cross-border safeguards (SCCs under Article 46)
User recordings, transcripts, and summaries are never used for AI model training. No behavioral analytics SDKs or third-party tracking tools are integrated, preserving local AI transcription privacy.
8. Updates and Accountability
We periodically review and update our privacy practices to reflect platform, legal, or transparency changes. All updates are versioned and communicated in-app and online.
